A townhome was donated in spring 2009. God crafted a vision for housing refugees. Redeemer connected with World Relief in High Point and quickly got matched with a family. Thus began Redeemer's Refugee Ministry.
The Alazawey (Qaddorri) Family
Our new Iraqi friends arrived mid-May. They fled Iraq in 2005 and have been waiting in Jordan since then for a permanent home... Winston Salem! This warm, friendly family of 6 is a delight to be around. The kids are ages 4-12 and are quickly learning lots of English.
